About Product
The Hikvision DS-PDCL12-EG2 is a wired ceiling-mounted PIR motion detector designed for high-accuracy indoor intrusion detection. It provides full 360° coverage with a detection range of up to 12 meters, making it ideal for large rooms, open spaces, offices, and commercial areas.
The detector uses a digital quad pyro sensor combined with 172 detection zones and advanced signal processing to improve accuracy and reduce false alarms. It includes digital temperature compensation to maintain stable performance under changing environmental conditions.
Additional features include creep-zone protection (detecting movement directly beneath the sensor), sealed optics to prevent insect interference, and selectable end-of-line (EOL) resistors for flexible integration with alarm panels. The device supports NC alarm output, front tamper protection, and LED indication (blue alarm). It operates on 9–16V DC and is designed for indoor ceiling installation at heights between 2.4 and 4 meters.
