The Hikvision DS-PD1-MC-MS is a wired surface-mounted magnetic contact designed for intrusion alarm systems. It detects door or window opening by monitoring the separation between the magnet and sensor body using a normally closed (NC) circuit. When the magnetic field is broken, the alarm system is triggered.
The device features a durable metal shell for improved mechanical strength and environmental resistance compared to plastic models. It is suitable for indoor installation on doors, windows, cabinets, and similar entry points. With a detection gap of approximately 40 mm, it provides reliable monitoring for security applications in residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
