Hikvision Wired Glass Break Detector DS-PDBG8-EG2

The Hikvision DS-PDBG8-EG2 is a wired acoustic glass break detector designed for intrusion alarm systems. It uses a high-quality omnidirectional microphone to detect the specific sound frequencies produced when glass is broken, providing early warning against forced entry attempts.

The detector offers a coverage range of up to 8 meters with a wide 120° detection angle, making it suitable for monitoring windows and glass surfaces in residential and commercial environments. It supports adjustable sensitivity via potentiometer to match different glass types and environmental conditions.

It includes digital signal processing to reduce false alarms and improve detection accuracy. The device supports selectable end-of-line (EOL) resistors for flexible wiring integration with alarm control panels.

Additional features include front tamper protection, LED status indication (green/red/blue depending on trigger type), and compatibility with multiple glass types such as tempered, laminated, wired, and double glazing. It is powered by 9–16V DC and integrates with Hikvision AX Hybrid wired intrusion systems.
