About Product
The Hikvision DS-PDP18-EG2 (PET) is a wired indoor PIR motion detector designed for AX Hybrid intrusion alarm systems. It provides reliable volumetric motion detection with a coverage range of up to 18 meters and a 85.9° detection angle.
The detector uses a dual-element pyroelectric sensor combined with 3D Fresnel optics to improve detection accuracy and reduce blind spots, including creep-zone coverage beneath the device. It includes digital temperature compensation and automatic sensitivity adjustment to maintain stable performance in varying environmental conditions.
The PET (Pet Immunity) feature allows the detector to ignore small animals up to 10 kg (depending on configuration), reducing false alarms in residential environments.
Additional features include anti-insect protection, selectable EOL resistors for compatibility with various alarm panels, wide voltage input (9–16V DC), and tamper protection (front cover). It is suitable for indoor wall or ceiling installation at heights between 1.8–2.4 meters.
