The Hikvision DS-PDPC12P-EG2 is a wired PIR-Camera hybrid detector designed for AX Hybrid intrusion alarm systems. It combines passive infrared motion detection with real-time video verification, enabling visual confirmation of alarm events. The device offers a 12-meter detection range with a 85.9° detection angle and supports up to 30 kg pet immunity to reduce false alarms.
It features a built-in 2MP camera with IR illumination for night capture, supporting multiple resolutions up to Full HD (1920×1080). The detector uses advanced SEC (Smart Environmental Control) technology, digital signal processing, and 3D optics for improved accuracy. It also includes tamper protection (front and rear), temperature compensation, and creep zone protection.
Communication is handled via the Speed-X wired bus with AES-128 encryption for secure transmission. The device is fully remotely configurable via Hikvision’s app or control panel, making it suitable for residential, commercial, and high-security installations.
