The Hikvision DS-TMG035-AR
The Hikvision DS-TMG035-AR is an entrance and exit trigger radar designed for intelligent vehicle access control systems, parking lots, and barrier gates.
It uses advanced 79GHz (and in some variants 60GHz) mmWave radar technology to detect vehicles with high accuracy and determine their movement direction. This makes it suitable for both entry and exit lane configurations.
The radar supports an adjustable detection range from 0.1 to 6 meters and a horizontal detection width up to 2 meters. It delivers a fast response time of approximately 50ms, ensuring real-time control of barrier arms.
The system is engineered for harsh environments, offering IP67 protection against dust and water, and stable operation under rain, fog, snow, and electromagnetic interference.
It supports RS-485 communication and in some versions wireless configuration (Wi-Fi or Bluetooth), allowing easy setup, debugging, and firmware upgrades.
Advanced anti-fall logic ensures the barrier does not close while a vehicle or pedestrian is still under the gate, improving safety and reducing mechanical damage.
