About Product
The Hikvision DS-PDC15-EG2 is a wired curtain-type PIR motion detector designed for precise perimeter protection in intrusion alarm systems. It creates a narrow detection “curtain” covering a range of up to 15 meters with a very tight 6.3° detection angle, making it ideal for windows, corridors, walls, and narrow entry paths.
It uses passive infrared (PIR) technology with 18 detection zones and advanced digital signal processing to ensure accurate motion detection while minimizing false alarms. The device includes digital temperature compensation to maintain stable performance in changing environmental conditions.
Additional features include creep-zone protection (detecting movement close to the sensor), sealed optics to prevent insect interference, and selectable EOL resistors for flexible wiring integration. It operates on 9–16V DC and supports tamper protection (front cover). The sensor is suitable for indoor installation and integrates seamlessly with Hikvision AX Hybrid alarm panels.
